Nayakan nominated in all time top 100 movies
CNN/Time has nominated Manirathnam's Nayakan in its all time top-100 movies. The list is not ranked, just organized alphabetically.
Some other notable Indian movies:
1. Satyajit Ray's The Apu Trilogy
2. Pyaasa
I was surprised to see Rashomon missing out, however, there are 2 other classics (Ikiru and Yojimbo) by Kurosawa. As suspected, Godfather III was ignored.

Thanks Anon, for visiting my blog. As I mentioned, this top 100 list was created by Time Warner and I have no control over the list.

what i heard was nayakan was also a poor remake of god father only difference being kamal chews pan while in original version hero smokes tobacco.. if that is true then it is a shame .. there are other Indian movies which are not inspired/remade from other movies/languages...
