unsolicited opinions, reviews, 2 cents worth...my 2 hoots
Born in Madras, India. Tel-Bram, but for all practical purposes (outside home) a tam. BE - CS in SatBam, Madras. Caught the GRE bug, came to the US (AZ) do MS in order to get on the gravy train. Former is done, latter was oh-so-subtly realized that it was improbable. Lived in Florida for a while and moved to the Pacific NW, decided rain is bad for health and moved to the bean-town in search of ve-ri-tas. So, there.

Kaps: its true. In florida, if there is a pond, lake or a river.. watch out!..sad thing is sometimes people drive their cars over alligators which come out in the night..

Yeh...it was crowded too when we went, I couldn't exactly remember whether I took that ride.

hahaha... good ones,Deepak.. i have seen the 'Gator crossing' only so far..
"Deaf child" is soooo touching whereas the scary ones were pathetic..

Deaf Child, alligator crossing and the other signs as well...interesting indeed. I haven't seen such signs here.!
I'll have to start looking for them.!

Interesting post. First time here frm K's photoblog.
Your post reminds me of a sign posted on the way to Hoover Dam, Nevada. "Expect delays due to construction 2003 to 2008" The traffic moving sooo slow it took forever to reach the destination. Well, they [the signs] mean what they say.
