Smiling elephants, 1001 strollers and a good start

Oh, by the way, Raju does exist really. Never have I known a person with several similarities - same birthday, same height, same principles (well, except for the one about "thalaivars"). For a while, it was pretty unreal, but I got that checked out yesterday. He and his wife Geetha had come down to Orlando for celebrating the New Year at Magic Kingdom (Disney world). It was kind of last minute deciding that I would join them too. They are a wonderful couple and I wish I had met them sooner. Raju and Geetha - thanks for putting up with me!

Even the vast disney campus was made to look small by the thousands of people who visited yesterday. It was not the best time to visit, but I prefer the company more than the occassion. We were not able to see a whole lot due to un-believable wait times of the lines, but enjoyed most part of it.

"Police" had to direct pedestrian traffic in the Main St. USA part of the Magic Kingdom.

Babies ruled the roost yesterday! Hundreds and hundreds of strollers were parked all over the park.

Ok...We would have liked to see more than just a few playful plastic pachyderms , but we took the little guys' spray in our stride!

Happy New Year everyone. I wish this year is more peaceful than all the previous ones.

P.S: I had a choice of either going to Orlando or to a New Year's Eve party. Boy, am I glad that I made the right choice yesterday and started the new year in a good way.

    Really nice fotos.. We are yet to download them.. Even with lower resolution, they have come out good. LOL on ur captions.. esp. the plastic yaanais.. and no mention about our boat captain? :-)

    Just noticed ur camera's time setting.. An hour of time difference.. the last foto would have had 1 12:00AM on it..

    actually, even some grown up kids (say, 8 year olds) were in the strollers, since they could not walk very long...
