So, they DO agree...
In a related article, CNN has acknowledged that the US indeed lost the Vietnam war. Although this was a fact for several decades, many of the hard-nosed politicians, veterans and citizens refused to agree. So many euphemisms were cited to the one too many mess-ups which were made there.
Incidentally, I was reading this article which was mentioning about how double-standards were being used by the west in viewing and accepting terror attacks in developing countries. Although the article mentioned may have been written using an over-enthusiastic and over-zealous pen, the author still carries the point home.
I guess it would take some more time for "them" to come around.
Updated: Civilian deaths in Iraq.

CNN is too late I feel...everyone agrees that US lost the war. My colleague here Iggy, ( Iqbal Bukhari) was talking to me about it just yesterday. Actually he went to that war he told.
He was narrating how US literally packed off and ran away in the end.
Sad to hear the catuality numbers growing.! US is in a Catch-22 now. Let's see how all these end.!
( If there is one)

its simple the arrogance of the white skin, thinking that they r superior to brown\black skin.
UK did this 2 centuries ago, reforming and freeing the world from the tyranny of barbarous religions, and civilising barbarians.
now, US is doin this under the name of restoring freedom and order.

Vatsan: if we think about it, most of the conflicts the world is facing now - say, mid-east, kashmir, etc are all due to the "mischiefs" played by colonial powers.
just imagine..because of the invasions, colonization, India failed to experience any kind of revolutionary changes - industrial, or something similar to the renaisance.. none.. so post-independence what happened..we had to rebuild from scratch.. maybe i should stop here and save my comments for a later post..
